I've mentioned before that there's a hyper-local party here that's seemingly far-right-adjacent but only in that they hate cross-border workers. they also love shitty graphic design and AI art. they have recently put out a flyer with one of the most remarkably weird images I have ever seen

Our school just did this. No exceptions for learning-related uses, just straight confiscation, with privacy and well-being as the reasons. Every school can do this.

This decision has been made to protect the safety and privacy of all students and staff. Wearable recording devices can make it difficult for people nearby to know whether they are being photographed or recorded, which creates significant privacy, consent and wellbeing concerns in a school environment.
