Have continually been taking running more seriously. While I know I’m not going to be turbo competitive anytime soon (or ever), it’s been the outlet I need. My goal was sneaking anywhere under 25–went out way too hard and was able to hold on. Just missed out medaling for age group 😂 but top 4.15%

It’s been a week, but the number one thing to reflect on was my race! Wasn’t confident with how I was feeling, but my work paid off. 80% of the pictures were taken within the final half mile, where I was fighting demons. Here’s one good one and one bad one. Speaking of percentages, was in top 3%

Had one of my best runs ever today? Definitely my best run that wasn’t a race. It was really (really) windy and tough overall. I’m really proud of my dedication to running and other positive lifestyle choices that have helped me continuously improve despite getting older and creakier

Relatively flat for ten miles. I ain’t a pro or anything like that, but I really like running and feel this is decent.

The base wind, non-gusts, was consistently around 25mph, and some of the gusts felt as if they were either picking me up or stopping me in my tracks
