GWB: “I’m not that type of conservative. I’m compassionate.” [Threatens social security, starts wars, economic disaster] DJT: “I’m not a GWB conservative. I’m tough, pragmatic, & not elitist.” [All of this] How are 50.1% of voters going to trust any R who says, “I’m not that type“ a third time?

Trump says 'Let them take out Los Angeles.' Recall this map: The *entire states* with population smaller than LA County. Among them they have 80+ US Senators. LA is about 1/3 of Calif's population, which has 2.

American evangelicalism isn’t so much a religion as a lifestyle brand for right-wing authoritarianism. But insofar as it still pretends to be taking guidance from the scriptures it projects its rancid politics into, Jesus is sort of inconvenient. Doesn’t sound much like Trump or Andrew Tate.

not that you should expect anything more than rank idiocy from this pair of racists, but the idea that whiteness means a "high trust" society of "social cohesion" is some of the stupidest shit i have ever heard. these people live in a fantasy land that you could dispel by simply opening a book.

Which is why, if US law refuses to abolish the death penalty, it should at least give the person the opportunity to choose medically-assisted suicide by competent professionals.

I’m opposed to the death penalty, but by this reasoning assisted suicide should be done by gun instead of medication, and yet that’s nowhere the case.

Thank you! This article is very helpful. The answers we get from each school won’t only tell us about our daughter’s safety. A campus that tolerates violence isn’t a place where our boys would feel comfortable either.

The only age demo currently supporting Rs turned 20 years old between 1976 and 1986, and no matter what happens in the world now or how politicians run their current campaigns, these voters’ politics is inevitably viewed through the lens of that era.

The latest Emerson generic ballot poll also differs significantly with age: Ages 40+: 50% D, 50% R Ages 30-39: 60% D, 35% R Ages 18-29: 73% D, 20% R Breaking down the 40+ group ages 60-69 go for Rs by 4.5 points while all other ages narrowly break for Ds by about 1.6 points.

If the big anti-Trump push is really coming solely from ages younger than 45, then I think Democrats are more likely to surprise in the following states: -TX and CO (49% of the population 20+ is ages 20-44) -OK and NE 46% -KS 45% And less likely in the following: -ME 38% -FL 40% -SC 42%

I suggest that if Democrats went on the attack on immigration instead of being defensive about it, swing voters (who often act as vibe detectors rather than policy desirers) would show increased confidence in Democrats on the issue.
