I spoke to ITV news about why it’s so important to register as an organ donor and tell your family your wishes. My life was saved by a liver transplant in 2009 to cure a rare and potentially fatal condition. youtu.be/Xl-wYRRCbnY?...

The common bit is this: when something hateful shows up in your crowd, it is not enough to privately think, “well, that’s not why I’m here.” You have to say so. Otherwise the people on the receiving end will hear the silence more loudly than your good intentions.

These situations are not the same. They don’t have to be.

As a Jew, I’ve seen this from the other side too. I know friends and neighbours who feel scared watching other protests: the chants, the signs, the people walking beside them, and the shrugging when Jews say it feels threatening.

David Monis-Weston @informededucation.com · 18/05/2026
That is the bit I wish more people understood. You don’t have to be the person holding the sign to help make people feel threatened by it.

David Monis-Weston @informededucation.com · 18/05/2026
But from the outside, silence doesn’t look neutral. If someone is marching next to an ugly sign or chant and nobody around them seems bothered enough to challenge it, the people targeted by it are not unreasonable for thinking: maybe this crowd is fine with it.

I can imagine what some of those people will say: we weren’t there for that. That was fringe. Opponents will use anything to smear us. Don’t let them make us lose. Maybe some of them mean that.

The anti-Muslim stuff at yesterday’s march was vile. Muslim friends, neighbours and colleagues should not have to watch scenes like that in London and wonder whether their city has a place for them. It should have been called out, loudly, by people on the march.

The CPD landscape has changed so much in the last decade and the TDT journey has taken us further than we ever imagined. When TDT began, CPD was barely on the policy agenda and now it’s central to government policy and leadership frameworks. I am so pleased to now see TDT… (cont)

We didn't write the Sunday Times article. That was by a journalist who saw our report and had some additional quotes from members of our team. So the language in that article is not ours.

It does indeed. In our report that we wrote we are clear that it is "as little as 14% of the marks". Either way, it is genuinely problematic to say that a standard pass is possible even if the range is between 14% and say 20%. It doesn't show a broad range of competency across fundamental maths.

Good morning. Our report says that England’s system is in the best position yet. We’re not suggesting that the Grade 4 standard is too easy but that it’s currently possible to reach it with too few questions which is an exam design issue. We don’t suggest anywhere that all teachers should use AI.

Highly esteemed Mrs. Curie,
Do not laugh at me for writing you without having anything sensible to say.
But I am so enraged by the base manner in which the public is presently daring to concern itself with you!? that I absolutely must give vent to this feeling. However, I am convinced that you consistently despise this rabble, whether it obsequiously lavishes respect on you or whether it attempts to satiate its lust for sensationalism!
I am impelled to tell you how much I have come to admire your intellect, your drive, and your honesty, and that I consider myself lucky to have made your personal acquaintance in Brussels. Anyone who does not number among these reptiles is certainly happy, now as before, that we have such personages among us as you, and Langevin(3) too, real people with whom one feels privileged to be in contact. If the rabble continues to occupy itself with you, then simply don't read that hogwash, but rather leave it to the reptile for whom i
