I HIGHLY recommend watching this one if you like Hallmark nonsense. The knight actor wants to be a Hemsworth brother, the lead actress is visibly pregnant and they just ignore it. No one actually knows how art theft or the FBI works. The plot is entirely nonsensical. 10/10.

I wouldn't have thought it was possible, but HOW does this man from the insane hallmark knight movie look like if you made Key and Peele into one person?

So much is happening all the time but really, I think we all feel like this because we’re being bombarded by everything that’s going on all the time. There’s never a break. Phones, tv, social media are just constant. There’s no time to think and process.

Why don’t people ever talk about “thing that plenty of people ARE talking about but aren’t in my personal account’s algorithm”?

I remember the sam wilson captain america movie had him running for senate and I was like HIM?? I could not pick a person who would hate that job more than james buchanan barnes. I loved Thunderbolts altogether but they also got his whole senate thing exactly right. He lasted like five minutes 😆

I agree except the original Avengers movie, which is, I think, one of the best of the entire MCU.

Interesting they don’t actually ask the writer whether he made it up or heard of the concept of a bucket list? I have a vague memory of this movie coming out + thinking it was a cheesy title bc I already knew the term, but honestly who knows. Feels like it would’ve been in a magazine quiz

NEW: An investigation by Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell found 52 of 60 potential noncitizens flagged by a error-prone federal system known as SAVE are actually citizens. Last week, SCOTUS said President Donald Trump's administration can use the tool. Read: www.votebeat.org/arizona/2026...

52 out of 60 voters flagged as noncitizens in key Arizona county turn out to be citizens

Maricopa County’s GOP recorder said he had found 60 noncitizens who had cast a ballot. Upon closer investigation, though, the real number is only eight.

I have a theory that high streaming numbers don't actually translate into how much individual people are listening to a song but moreso what easy listening songs play best at grocery stores, starbucks, etc, since all these businesses stream that music all day, every day. Modern day elevator music.

My sister likes it so she played it for me and I just, with respect, think it’s just a boring song.

Seriously, check! The automated systems and agency info sharing has this far been very inaccurate in identifying citizens vs not.

"Economy Candy, which has sold sweet treats from the Lower East Side since 1937, typically ships about 30 to 50 packages of Sunkist gems every day, including to upward of 50 synagogues around the country." Great requiem for Fruit Gems:

The internet illiteracy is absolutely wild. We were also very well-versed on how the tech worked - I remember learning basic coding, etc. But I also think some of this is rising disbelief that you even CAN be an expert. If you distrust all authority, than checking your sources becomes mute.

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Anyone who has seen the Administration’s new census proposal should be reaaaaal skeptical that the DOC would be able to properly identify citizens and non-citizens for the purposes of enumeration (dictating how many representatives each state gets in Congress).

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

So, so much of this also comes down to the way we were trained vs younger people. I don’t trust a single thing AI tells me without verifying every source. That’s what I was always taught was best practice with any internet research. It’s bizarre to me that so many people just…don’t do that.

The thing is, the consequences for these kinds of behaviors cannot be a fine bc that’s just a cost of doing business. If these places don’t follow their legal requirements? Cut them off until they do. Turn off their power. Period.

Smart, well-off people who think that uneducated people are easier to control often find that, in fact, it's much harder. Uneducated people are not easier to lead BECAUSE they are more easily mislead. It is really hard work to develop true critical thinking skills. Without them? We're screwed.

I NEED this in NYC and JC. Pet rent is a joke. Renters already pay security deposits to cover any damage or use, and buildings already charge maintenance fees to cover common areas. Pet rent is just a way to charge more for nothing.

Even if the choice is ultimately to end the relationship, understanding parental behavior can provide explanation for their behaviors that can help you understand why they are who they are, and help you process that it likely comes from their own trauma and is not really about you.

110

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Everyone is different, and it is frankly not at all up to me whether or not people do this in their own lives, but I hope those who do want to cut off a parent actually do try to work through the issues first and give them some grace.

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Pointing out the rare people from older generations that landed on a more modern morality earlier isn’t a great argument against this. It’s the equivalent of pointing to a 100 year old who smoked a pack a day and saying “he was fine so why can’t everyone else be?”Anecdotes are just anecdotes.

She is in no way a perfect woman, and she has absolutely caused me harm. But she has also loved me deeply and I have never doubted that. I have spent time trying to understand her and that has genuinely changed both how I receive her and how we interact together. But I had to do that work.

100

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I also worry we’re developing a lack of compassion. In my own family, my mother was deeply traumatized, and many of my own experiences were colored by hers in ways that were harmful to me. But she was also genuinely doing the best she could.

100

Faye @inanhourofdreaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I worry that part of this is people no longer wanting to do real work in relationships, or people defaulting to this because they don’t have the language to talk about what’s going wrong. No relationship is frictionless, but many are worth the work put into them.
