PSA that Lake Mungo is now streaming on Shudder. I won’t be watching it again (once was enough thank you) but if you haven’t seen it, it’s excellent and one of the few horror movies that genuinely scared me.

The Deathstalker remake’s version of GGG is gory, goopy, and goofy. It’s a fun tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek watch, and hang out for the closing credits for some period-accurate 80s power metal.

A bit late to the party on this one but glad I managed to catch it in a theater. Terrific, moving film with a predictably magnetic central performance from Moura. Also an important movie to see at this moment in US history.
