Also I do think that it’s a natural part of aging to become less aware of the new hotness, and as far as I’m concerned is not THAT big of a deal. I suspect it’s also that we don’t use the radio much anymore as a whole, and that was kind of the way shit got real big back in the day.

Nearly thought we created a major setback this morning loading him into the car, had a pain yipe and hunching… but thank all that is holy, I got him to work (as the meds had time to work) and the improvements to his proprioception (limb awareness) have NOT regressed so he’s okay.

Update: have cried, at work, which is not a bonus. Stupidly, he appears to be generally feeling better but that’s actually not the most fun thing because he isn’t ACTUALLY better so it’s even more important to make sure he doesn’t fuck himself up.

Update: the meds have helped him chill out, he is still displaying neuro symptoms. He ate his breakfast pretty normally (thank god, we had to hand feed last night), and even drank a little water on his own.

Welp after an emergency vet visit the dog has been diagnosed with a slipped disc in his neck. He is very miserable and we just managed to get his first med dose in, so we will see if that helps.
