Of note: NCOSE is what they started calling themselves after a rebrand. Before that they were the openly evangelical Christian watchdog group Morality in Media. They've intentionally branded themselves in a way that seems, at a glance, more professional and less extreme.

NCOSE is an anti-porn, Christian morality group that used to be known as Morality in Media. They have campaigned against gay marriage and sex ed. Every use of AI that I hate is downstream of corporate capitalism. Why are students and teachers alike turning to ChatGPT? Overworked and stressed, seeking ease. Why are people making AI art? No time or desire to take up a hobby involving risk of failure when already stressed.

If your first inclination to honor a dead artist is to "create" and post something using generative AI, maybe consider just not doing that, and enjoying the work that they made in the form in which they put it into the world. genAI is just pissing on their grave.
