Yayoi Kusama has passed away. I wasn’t very familiar with her as a person, but her infinity rooms have been a great source of comfort and awe for me. I feel lucky to have experienced several while she was alive—one of them especially with my friend Aly, who died in June. This week has been so sad.

I’d been saying this for years before she passed, but if there was ever a right way to be a wealthy person, Dolly Parton did it. It’s also really important to mention that this just didn’t appear out of nowhere—a lot of this began with SESTA/FOSTA. All of the places where ID verification has been soft launched (P-hub etc) is b/c of SESTA/FOSTA. They were warning us for years. They tested this on SWs first. As they always do.

If you're taking to the streets to protest today, know your rights.

"KNOW YOUR PROTEST RIGHTS
You don’t need a permit to protest in response to breaking news and you don’t need a permit to march in the streets or along sidewalks, as long as you’re not obstructing traffic or access to buildings.
When you are lawfully present in any public space, you have the right to photograph anything in plain view, including federal buildings and the police.
