Calle de Colombia ⟂ Calle de Bolivia, 28016

A concrete terrace building around nine stories tall, built sloped on one side like a wedge, receding towards the top. Some balconies have greenery. The ground floor has a big awning with a cloudy sky full-color print.

Is that steel boot inserts on the paws? Excellent However i don't see any certificate so let's drop heavy weights on top to see if it's compliant

Waking up to notifications of the MDSCC fire. Hope everyone was safely evacuated and the fires didn’t reach the telescopes. Fire mitigation usually de-risk infrastructure damage by ensuring fire fuel breaks are created (ie vegetation is set back away from antennas) + controlled back burning.

The whole "AI" industry is just based on the hope that they can deskill people fast enough that they'll have to rent back cognitive support systems. Forever. It's like Uber. Just that they don't try to break existing transportation infrastructures but your brain.

Screenshot of a Tweet by @TheChiefNerd inclusing an interview with Sam Altman.

The text in the Tweet says:
SAM ALTMAN: “We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter.”

That interview buries all claims of "democratizing" access to information or capabilities like programming. It's not about empowerment, it is about rentseeking.

I refuse to doom. I think a lot of people are surprised that my dark and spooky aesthetic comes paired with a very sunny disposition. I’m not ignorant to how fucked up things are right now, but when so many evil people in power try to drown you in despair, hope and joy is a weapon.
