Waking up to notifications of the MDSCC fire. Hope everyone was safely evacuated and the fires didn’t reach the telescopes. Fire mitigation usually de-risk infrastructure damage by ensuring fire fuel breaks are created (ie vegetation is set back away from antennas) + controlled back burning.

The whole "AI" industry is just based on the hope that they can deskill people fast enough that they'll have to rent back cognitive support systems. Forever. It's like Uber. Just that they don't try to break existing transportation infrastructures but your brain.

I refuse to doom. I think a lot of people are surprised that my dark and spooky aesthetic comes paired with a very sunny disposition. I’m not ignorant to how fucked up things are right now, but when so many evil people in power try to drown you in despair, hope and joy is a weapon.

Picked up Cyberpunk now that I had a better computer - there will be hijinks

A merc in Cyberpunk 2077. She wears a haute-couture maroon and black tube dress, texture ridged across the arms, and the upper back looks transparent and very plasticky. On her head she wears a padded maroon keffiyeh. She is shooting a high-powered precision rifle.
