Just learned that Christoph Frommel has died, one of the greats in #Renaissance and #earlymodern architectural history, and long-time director of @bhmpi.bsky.social. He shaped the field as few others, just a phenomenon. Expect copious obituaries in the next days and weeks. RIP.
