New Treasury data shows that, as of December, the deficit was $1.2b (31%) less than forecast and net debt was $4.5b less than forecast at only 21.7% of GDP The Govt has inherited healthy books. The only reason for service cuts is to fund the planned $1b/yr tax cuts for landlords. From Clint Smith.

So, we were supposed to go to Bali in 2020, and 2021. Now we're finally doing it tomorrow. Squeeeee! BUT, probably not. My hubby came off his bike on Saturday morning and can barely walk. He's had it reconstructed before so knows this isn't good. I'm heartbroken - both for him...

JMM was crap, giving Luxon more airtime and plum questions. Luxon constantly shouted over chippy, who was way to polite. Luxon has a leaders tone to his voice and JMM actually praised Luxon for doing well (like they were still in her media training sessions together). #nzpol

I hate that you have to put you and your partner's incomes, then the result says, 'your savings'. It never says that that is per couple. Plus, what makes them think all couples have joint accounts?
