Black text reads, "Already, criminalization of abortion-seekers and their loved ones has escalated in the years following the Dobbs decision. Expanding the role of police and prosecutors in people’s healthcare decisions will make all of us less safe. Abortion seekers will be isolated, vulnerable, and too scared to ask for help from healthcare providers or their loved ones.”

They plan to begin attacking access to abortion pills—through enforcing the Comstock Act and litigation. Nothing changes for now. Be assured. We've been preparing for this.
A quote graphic with a lime-green to teal gradient background. Black text reads, "“Dobbs laid the groundwork to roll back all of our rights and ensure none of us have access to abortion care. Just as they lied about the intention behind the Dobbs decision, they are lying about who they will punish and persecute for abortion.
Anti-abortion zealots have claimed that the Comstock Act will allow them to jail pregnant people for seeking abortion care.”

Down from Dover was kept off the radio because Dolly's record label saw single motherhood and stillbirth as too controversial at the time. She still released it on her album. The story is devastating and relatable, and we thank her for giving voice to women with similar experiences. 💖
Picture of Dolly Parton singing. Lyrics from Down from Dover:
My body aches the time is here
It's lonely in this place where I'm lying
Our baby has been born but something's wrong
It's much too still I hear no crying
I guess in some strange way she knew
She'd never have a father's arms to hold her
And dying was her way of telling me
He wasn't coming down from DoverPicture of Dolly Parton singing.
“When I wrote [Down from Dover] - Lord, so many years ago, the mid-'60s, I guess - I knew a lot of young girls getting pregnant, and usually in the mountains people would pretty much turn you out: you were trash and a whore and your daddy and mama wouldn't let you come home, so you'd have to go to some home for unwed mothers or a relative would take you in. I'm touched by everything, and that used to bother me: how cruel and awful must that be, how lonely they must feel.“

At the top is the Washington Post headline "WP Exclusive: Rogue officers are turning a nationwide camera network into a tool for stalking" accompanied by photo of a woman with long dirty brown wavy hair, seated, with red lipstick. To her right is an excerpt from the article that reads, "In Wisconsin, a police officer allegedly used Flock to check whether his ex-girlfriend had gone to an abortion clinic, according to a police affidavit for a case set for trial this month." Below and to the right is a FactPost tweet that reads, "Texas police searched 83,000 Flock cameras nationwide to track down a woman who got an abortion."
