Stay informed. Share resources. Support the abortion and practical support funds, indie clinics, and community networks that make abortions possible.
A quote graphic with a lime-green to teal gradient background. Black text reads, "Already, criminalization of abortion-seekers and their loved ones has escalated in the years following the Dobbs decision. Expanding the role of police and prosecutors in people’s healthcare decisions will make all of us less safe. Abortion seekers will be isolated, vulnerable, and too scared to ask for help from healthcare providers or their loved ones.”

They plan to begin attacking access to abortion pills—through enforcing the Comstock Act and litigation. Nothing changes for now. Be assured. We've been preparing for this.
A quote graphic with a lime-green to teal gradient background. Black text reads, "“Dobbs laid the groundwork to roll back all of our rights and ensure none of us have access to abortion care. Just as they lied about the intention behind the Dobbs decision, they are lying about who they will punish and persecute for abortion.
Anti-abortion zealots have claimed that the Comstock Act will allow them to jail pregnant people for seeking abortion care.”

Getting abortion care while living on or near a military base can be complicated. Military policies and logistics impact people’s options and legal risk. We teamed up with @ineedana.bsky.social and @nwlc.org on a guide to navigate getting care: tinyurl.com/militaryabortion
A graphic for an I Need an A, National Women's Law Center, and If/When/How collaborative guide, "A Military Member's Guide to Abortion." It has a purple, teal, and violet camo pattern background. At the top it has the title in white. Below is a purple piece of tap holding up a manila file colored note that says, "We'll cover: Where to get an abortion, options if you need to travel, abortion costs + coverage, privacy + legal risk, taking leave and time off, follow-up care, and support resources." Let's talk Flock and abortion surveillance. Here's what we know: 👁️‍🗨️ The state is upping its surveillance with tech like Flock cameras. 🚔 And, the majority of criminalization cases we defend come from someone who knows the person going to the cops (or being a cop) to harass, track, and target them.
A lime green background graphic that has screenshots of recent headlines and stories about Flock cameras. At the top is the Washington Post headline "WP Exclusive: Rogue officers are turning a nationwide camera network into a tool for stalking" accompanied by photo of a woman with long dirty brown wavy hair, seated, with red lipstick. To her right is an excerpt from the article that reads, "In Wisconsin, a police officer allegedly used Flock to check whether his ex-girlfriend had gone to an abortion clinic, according to a police affidavit for a case set for trial this month." Below and to the right is a FactPost tweet that reads, "Texas police searched 83,000 Flock cameras nationwide to track down a woman who got an abortion." To the left is bold, black writing that states, "Let's talk abortion criminalization and Flock cameras."

In the last month, Wyoming has had to deal with rapid shifts in abortion access. A state judge temporarily blocked the abortion ban while a case makes its way through court. That sounds like good news, but amidst the legal back-and forth, the state reinstated a forced parental involvement law.

A federal court just blocked healthcare providers across the country from mailing mifepristone. Temporarily. This decision will have a huge impact on all abortion patients in every state. This ruling does not make it a crime to use abortion pills to end a pregnancy.
If/When/How graphic with grainy black background and white and highlighter lime green text that reads: "Know your rights! Call us." And continues, "On May 1, 2026, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that healthcare providers in all 50 states are temporarily not allowed to give patients one of the medications that make up abortion pills, mifepristone, by mail or through a pharmacy. For now, this means that people who are prescribed abortion pills must now go in person to a clinic or healthcare center to pick up their medication. This ruling does not make it a crime to use abortion pills to end a pregnancy. And it has nothing to do with the safety of abortion pills. Abortion pills are still a safe and effective way to end a pregnancy, with or without the help of the healthcare provider. Call the Repro Legal Helpline to talk to a lawyer and understand your legal rights and options when accessing abortion care."

FACT: Health care workers can stop criminalization before it starts. Abortion bans and mandatory reporting laws feed the surveillance of pregnant people. It’s crucial that providers don’t police people seeking care. Use our state fact sheets to stop state harm: tinyurl.com/CareProviderResources
