The rear of the bike is exactly the same (apart from color) but the bucket is a completely new and better design. Alas many accessories are not compatible and my bike came with Tektro brakes instead of Magura. A big upgrade! 111

Never had so much on a highway and one of the best days I have ever had in one of the best cities. 180

The driver pushed me 75 feet up Indianola Ave before they came to a stop. It would have been far worse if I had been on any other bike. I’m getting another Urban Arrow. 150

But I would have been a lot more hurt if the car had hit me, instead of the giant EPP bucket on the UA that absorbed a lot of the impact shock. 020

The driver failed to yield while making a left turn and pushed me 75 feet up Indianola before coming to a stop. The bike incurred thousands in damage if it’s not totaled. I walked away because the bike shielded me from the car. 340

Both brands use Bosch electronics, which is the gold standard for e-bikes and will last a decade if you take care of it. Whatever you do, buy from a dealer, not online. 120

Early in my stay I decided to walk the 10km from my language school in what was East Berlin back to where I was staying, a neighborhood in the west. Soviet monuments. A bust of the elder Bush. Battle damage from 1945. A cool LGBTQ neighborhood. 110

Shame on the Columbus Police Department for not sending an officer because I was on a bike. PSA: drivers must yield when turning left to a bike going straight. 592

A normal day of biking for me, except that normally I don’t get caught in a hail storm (the kids stayed dry and had fun). The only thing my c@r did today was get in the way of my bike getting into the garage. Happy Earth Day. 040
