Rivas grew up in El Salvador during another tumultuous era. A military coup in 1979 led to a deadly decade-long civil war between the U.S.-backed Salvadoran government and a left-wing guerrilla group backed by Cuba.

True. I've been in Hamilton County, N.Y. this week and this is an accurate description of gas prices. The lowest I've seen is around $4.73/gallon.

Regular gas prices in Hamilton County, New York, currently average around $4.86 per gallon at local Adirondack outposts.
