Now in the Sonic Discord: You can talk in a single channel. However, anything you post gets deleted immediately. Then you must wait ONE HOUR to speak again.

ai really brought in a new era of skepticism. I hate having doubt about any new pc port, like the recent Crash Team Racing Turbocharge, which is a fork of a fork of CTR Native. It looks legitimate, but I'm no expert in this.

It's stange that I feel more positive towards Sonic Forces than I do of Sonic Dream Team. Like I the latter is a significantly better experience for most people, I just feel indifferent to that game.

If it works, that's pretty cool; I didn't think
would ever see this implemented (I also didn't
expect LLMs to exist).
However, this is not something you can PR
here, or anywhere. You sent me a nearly 50k
line diff, unasked for, completely LLM built, and
you somehow expect me to review it. There is
SO MUCH unrelated garbage here. Never
minding all of the docs and Python, you've
somehow touched basically all of the upstream
HDL, which already had MSU1 support, so idk
what in the world you're doing.
This kind of behavior is not acceptable. You are
infringing on the time and brainpower of people
by pushing "your" content that little/no of your
brainpower went into; completely unrequested.
I hope for the sake of all responsible
maintainers that you do not do such a thing
again.
Again, I think it's cool that you and your LLM
supposedly got this to work. It has no place in
my world.

Sega makes a lot of bad decisions when it comes to Sonic, but this might potentially be one of the most catastrophic one they could have made.

It’s for trans men/boys who are unable to access transition for whatever reason. Financial, safety, etc. There isn’t anything wrong with the messaging. Besides, social transition is usually the first step toward medical transition anyway. Trans people deserve support on all steps of the journey.

Giving up Harry Potter should be, like, the absolute easiest thing. It's really not a big ask at all. It's frankly deeply embarrassing that so many people refuse to give up a mid children's book series written by a raging bigot.

I know most of you guys don't go on the other app but the pope posted an anti AI/ pro artists statement yesterday, and the ensuing cope and memes is really funny

Pope Leo XIV
@Pontifex

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

2016: I will never fight a holy war

2019: Pope Leo I am ready launch me towards the nearest data center

some AI guy saying he makes christian children's books with AI asking the pope if that is ok then and someone posting a meme react with the pope holding a baseball bat saying 'did I stutter'

I think my favorite gag in portal isn't any particular joke or bit. It's the continued treatment of "testing" as some vague, ephemeral idea. What are they testing exactly? Who knows. Who cares. You're testing. Do the test. Aperture needs to keep testing.
