My head is just so full of guys and they are always getting knocked up or tortured or filled with eggs and I personally don't think this is in any way a reflection of my own desires

next is my sweet boy Beren, who started as my character in a game of Scion in which i made my husband homebrew the Valar into a pantheon so i could still play an elf. now he's moved beyond to being an elf of Tolkien's make isekai'd into the Forgotten Realms. ft. his boyfriend, a nascent archfey mage

ref sheet of an elf man with ash-toned blond hair and green eyes. there's a front and back nude shot, and one of him clothed. the clothing is layered, with a mossy green-brown long-sleeved robe beneath, brown leather armour made of straps that weave across the torso, then a deeper forest green sleeveless over-robe. he has three sets of scars, two of which look like animal claw-marks. one across his mid-back, the other across his ribs. there's also a ragged scar that goes from his sternum to just below his navel, as if he's been cut open and healed.

we're gonna start with the most recent, Harlow Hayweather and Pug Foust. my friend and i had been wanting to play a married couple in d&d ever since we saw a thing abt a paladin whose oath is their wedding vows and a warlock whose patron is their spouse. SO. we made THEM.

art of two figures, looking romantically at each other. one is a kneeling black-skinned tiefling woman with curled-back horns, white hair, yellow eyes, and what looks like a three-claw scar across the bridge of her nose, with her arm on the shoulder of a much smaller halfling man. he has short red-brown hair, thin-framed circular glasses, and a fur-tipped tail. he has one hand on her cheek, and the other is holding one of her fingers. she is weathing a sleeveless top made of dark leather and matching shorts, which show her strong, muscular form. he's weating a pair of loose brown trousers with a buttoned-up panel in the front and a blousy white shirt.

It genuinely boggles my mind that there’s not more fanart of War of the Rohirrim. For all of the beautiful fanart of Lord of the Rings and even of the Silmarillion you’d think SOMEONE would have the hots for Sexy but Stupid Wulf.

better yet, consider unsubscribing from HBO/Max the week before her show comes out (& if you rejoin, wait until the HP season is over). it's not enough to *not* watch it – HBO needs to know it will hurt their bottom line if they continue producing it

So, I know that the Met Gala gives big Hunger Games energy. That analogy is warranted given everything going on in the world. However, I’d like to take a moment to gently remind people that the event really does support artisans, public history, and preservation. It’s not just about celebs.

A Tweet From Derek Guy:

A few things to keep in mind during Met Gala discourse:

— The Met Gala is a fundraising event that supports the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute.

— The Costume Institute preserves historical garments, curates public exhibitions, and educates people on how clothing reflects and shapes culture.

— At a time when federal arts funding is being cut, private fundraising like this becomes even more important.

— Many cause-driven organizations hold galas, including those focused on the arts, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental justice, and medical research.

— This year’s theme centers on Black dandyism, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The book explores how Black men transformed a style once imposed upon them into a tool for self-expression, resistance, and dignity.

— The Met Gala raises money through ticket sales. Major fashion houses often purchase entire tables and then invite guests to attend wearing their designs. This is money that would otherwise be spent on private marketing—but here, it goes toward a public cultural institution.

— Not all clothing is meant to be practical or "presentable" by conventional standards. Some garments are made as artistic statements. Even if you wouldn’t wear something to the office, you can still appreciate the creativity and technical mastery behind it.

— Events like this provide work for countless tailors, embroiderers, textile specialists, and artisans—many of whom produce garments entirely by hand. Such artisans also help you appreciate other forms of art, such as theatre and movies, which require costuming.

“We Have Always Survived” Cone 5.5 stoneware, underglaze, glaze, nichrome wire $1,500cad 20% of sales profit will be split and go to a trans aid organization in Canada and the US. #NCECA #ceramics post 1/3

Multiple photographed angles of a ceramic, earthy-toned goat. It rests on the ground, head slightly bowed, a dignified and calm air surrounding it.
It has a star marking on its forehead and long horns swoop back with the points ending just above its shoulders.
Illustrated flowers rise up its neck, sheltering a small cluster of stars below it, which also sport little smiles. Beneath them reads: “Transness is happiness - We have always survived and will continue to do so - Out of defiance and out of love”
A dash of white, pink, and blue, the colours of the trans flag sits below the text.
Bordered by more flora and stars is an open archway to the hollow of its chest in which sits a single burning candle.

Look I have zero excuses for this, but the idea popped into my head and now it's in your head, sorry

A six panel comic. In panel 1, a yellow warbler says "Hey, so I'm going to go out on a limb here". For the next four panels, it hops down along a branch. In the last panel, at the end of the branch, it sings a little song. I'm sorry.

The image is a six panel comic.

Panel one shows a human sitting down across from an older woman at a resturant booth. The person sitting down is saying "Hey, sorry I was late, I admit I got caught up in a... book..." The older woman responds "Oh? What's it about?"

Panel two is a close up of the person hesitantly saying "It's uh...Based off that thing I like" while the faded image of a fanfiction entry on Archiveofourown with several tags like 'hurt/comfort, slowburn, and Enemies to friends' hovers in the back.

Panel three shows the older woman again this time asking "Oh? What's the title?"

Panel four once again shows the other person. They are saying "Uhhh....It's uhhm...." While the title of the fanfciton reads "We Are Going to Set a McDonalds on Fire" now hovers behind them.

Panel five once again shows the older woman, this time asking "What about the author?"

Panel six zooms in on the other person again, this time with the authors name slight obscured behind them, but what can be seen is "ussyblaster69". The person is sweating now.
