I kind of really like this. I generally like the look of just leaving the sketch on a lower opacity than doing linework and I may do it more. #originalcharacterart #characterart #oc #ocart #characterdesign

After a productive #artfight I really stalled out. It wasn't really that I was burnt out on drawing, I just really struggled to do anything I was happy with. There are still things I am not particularly happy with on this, but I am glad to have completed something. #originalcharacter #characterart

My last two artfight attacks this year! Overall, I am pretty happy with my first #artfight season. I got out 10 attacks, all full body, which I'm pretty proud about. I hope to compete again next year! Sounds of the Drum belonging to @hageshisa on insta Corasia belonging to @johpr.bsky.social

A picture of screaming, because I feel like screaming a lot lately. I got a 'promotion' at work that I really didn't want and now I lack all motivating to do anything. Essentially, someone quit, and instead of replacing that person, I got 'promoted' to doing her job and my own. #originalcharacter

Hey everyone! I don't promote it very often, but I have some online shops. I just uploaded a new design and would love it if you checked it out :) www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/1765... icteridae.threadless.com/designs/grey... www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/8458...

I spent way too long working on this, not because I actually spent a lot of hours on it, but because I was very inconsistent about actually spending time doing art. I used a reference from @theposearchives.bsky.social for this #originalcharacter #caharacterart

Armin’s new ref sheet! #aasb

Reference sheet of an older man with a yellow color scheme. He has a black and white mullet and beard, with more white on his right side. Underneath each eye is a triangle tattoo. He is wearing a yellow long coat with armor on top. The clothing is torn and muddied. Also on the ref sheet is a detail of his left arm, covered in a sleeve of bands with geomtrics patterns. His great axe is also shown, which has simple shapes called runes carved into it. The ref sheet is dotted with other design notes, such as his left handedness or body scars.

To those of you who are interested, we did our birdathon on Saturday and saw a total of 122 species during our 24 hour count period! This is tied for the second highest birdathon we've done. Donations are open to the end of the month :) The highlight was two short-eared owls at the end of the day.

It’s the time of year when you might find a baby bird and want to help. Most often (and slightly counterintuitively) it’s best to do nothing. Here’s a useful guide.

An infographic with information on what to do if you find a baby bird.
Is it visibly injured? If yes, contact an animal welfare organisation. If no: does it have feathers? If yes, it’s a fledgling. If it’s in immediate danger, move it to a sheltered spot nearby. If no, do nothing.
If it doesn’t have feathers, it’s a nestling. If you can see a nest, put it back in the nest. If not, contact an animal welfare organisation.
