3) Look both ways, then cross in front of the crossing guard
- If the crossing guard is leaving the crosswalk, stay at the corner and wait until the next time they cross.
- Stay behind the red bumps on the corner - it keeps you safely away from moving cars.
- Be kind and gentle with other students while waiting. Playing rough near the road is unsafe.
- Only cross with the crossing guard, or your own parent or guardian. If someone else's parent is crossing, it doesn't mean it's safe to cross!
