Managed to sneak through the end of Mushihimesama! Probably easier than Blue Revolver, if for no other reason than the final boss not being immune to bombs. Gotta finally get through the end of Gunvein after this! Awesome videogame.

New update on Impact Project 5! Had to do a lot of work to get the 8-way aiming to work right with gravity-flipping. The player sprite uses two halves while firing: The bottom half is for all the possible walking/jumping poses, and the top half maintains firing direction.

Just spent the past 4 hours working on SFX. Sound is uniquely challenging because in order to hone in on a good sound, you have to listen to the awful, too loud, shrill version of that sound 100 times on your way to the good sound.

Ultra difficulty mode's design is going so well that I made an encounter testing which makes me actually mad. The shotgun guys drop mines on knockdown which can clog up the entire central "bridge" + the visibility regularly gets flushed down the toilet. Absolutely Insufferable. Good to go.
