The mental gymnastics meme. Gamemaker controller diagram hater says "not everyone's face buttons are the same color," "shoulder_r and shoulder_rb" are bad naming conventions," "up and down switching directions is confusing at a glance," "the isometric perspective makes left and right hard to tell apart too," "I have to set my controller on the table upside-down just to tell which face buttons are which." The Gamemaker controller diagram lover's mental gymnastics just say "it shows all the buttons."

Completely redid the cinematic camera for screenshots. Decided to try just freezing Cam's model in place and pausing animation instead of using existing Quake code that duplicates the player model and all the sequencing and blending. Turns out it works much better! #gamedev #indiedev

Been usin' #crocotile3d to set up my scenes and... yeah, I think I'll be using it for the rest of the game. The placement of the tiles is SO easy with this program... arguably, the only hard part is all the sprites I have to draw haha. ^.^' #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev
