Also thinking about how it feels like you could go to a job with some knowledge of your work and then they would bring you in, train you, and help you over the gaps. Now you have to know every aspect of your role and maybe you’ll land a job. But for like 20% less of the average salary people make

I need people to understand how scary it is being a woman in Texas right now. There is a severe obgyn shortage right now, with there being an almost 2 month wait. On the phone I asked the nurse what we can do & she said “while we still can, vote”. Our ability to vote is up for doubt & I’m scared.

It’s wild how you can have a fairly successful, well received game like 2XKO, lose half your team, still push out a bunch of content, & then be told come end of the year, your game loses support. There’s no investment period in gaming anymore on the AAA level, it’s either immediate profit or bust
