Why is it in most horror films, after using a weapon against the attacker, the victim immediately drops it when they run away? Doubling down, they also don’t look for a new weapon until the next attack happens. Lastly, a pro tip: Never say “this place gives me the creeps” unless you want to die.

In 2014 my daughter auditioned for the school play by monologuing the speech Cyrus gave at the beginning of The Warriors. The same year, she finished 3rd in the state for her National History Day project about the Endangered Species Act, doing a solo performance…as a wolf matriarch. My kids rock.

I lived at home until I was 21 because none of my friends could afford to move out. Mom/dad were awful people & for some reason one day they asked to join me & watch one of the films I rented. Of the 3 rentals, I randomly chose Bloodsucking Freaks. They never asked to spend time with me again. 😂

I just heard Our Lips Are Sealed on the radio & flashed back to 1984. One of my friends went to Marymount in LA (huge HS) and for his senior prom they had three live bands: The Go-Go’s, Oingo Boingo, and Otis Day & the Knights. Some friends & I sat in the parking lot just to listen (and shout lol).
