I saw Coyote Vs Acme last night and I really liked it! It was quite charming, and I laughed out loud at some points. I’m not a huge fan of the use of cell shaded 3D as a stand in for 2D. (There were definitely places where the animation was weak.) But it was enough fun to make up for that.

I’m supposed to go dove hunting on Wednesday, so I asked my dad to teach me how to shoot a gun. I brought clay pigeons to practice but I couldn’t even hit the stationary target. ;_; I’m gonna be the most embarrassing hunter on the field.

I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Music opinion: the Taylor Swift “I Knew It I Knew You” song has grown on me. I didn’t really care for it at first but I think it’s pretty charming now. My main complaint is that she & the radio stations try to claim it’s “country music” and I just don’t hear it.

So, mixed feelings on this. At my old job we did something similar - buying old philatelic books, slicing the spines to run them through a scanner so we could search/share them easier. We probably cut well over 100 books. We didn’t shred them, though. When we were done we spiral-bound them.

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

Meet Little Dipper (white flame-point), Leo (tabby) and Cassiopeia (tux). The first two are boys, about 6-7 weeks old. The other one is a girl about a month older. They were all taken in on Saturday, and have been getting meds and eye drops since.

Little Dipper, a 6-7 week old white kitten at my feet. You can barely see the orange markings on the tail and ears. One ear is notched as was part of a TNR program.

Leo, a 6-7 week old tabby cat, and Little Dipper again, both looking up towards me, with Leo having a begging look, and Little Dipper meowing. You can see the notched ears on both of them.

Cassiopeia, a 2-month old tux kitten with a white stripe between the eyes and on the nose, and a white tip on the tail. She's standing inside a tunnel part of a cat tree, looking directly at the camera. You hardly can tell from this picture, but one ear is notched as well.

I work in a call center and every call is recorded, including voicemails left after our office closes. I’ve taken to saving the files of short interesting sounds left as voicemails. Everything from unintelligible mumbles to clicks and buzzes to swear words. Just my personal collection of sounds.
