I will never not be a fan. They are tattooed on my body. To me, the Yankees represent New York. Hal can never take that away, no matter how long he lasts. But he has truly wrecked such an important part of our city. I hate him with the fire of many suns.

What makes it so frustrating is, as in years past, they were close to actually contending. For once, it's a great rotation. Judge is a lineup anchor. But under Hal, they crazily stick with Boone and always leave holes in the roster rather than making a real push.

The weak, streaky lineup was obvious. Bullpen issues were obvious. The manager sucks and, for years, he and his squads have made dumb mistakes.

I have watched exactly *one* Yankees game this season. I still read the coverage and stats a lot. That's how I knew what this team was. We go into every year with a team like this and it's just not fun.
