I used photoshop almost everyday for 20 years. The last time I used it was during the pandemic. By the looks of whatever this is, I don’t think I’d be able to use it anymore. I dont recognize it. Also my job would expect me to use these “tools” and I wouldn’t know how, nor would I want to. Sad.

One underrated reason why people hate AI? It is being *aggressively* shoved in our faces whether we want it or not. For instance, this is what you see when you first open up Photoshop, Premiere, and the overall Creative Cloud app that you use to update your apps.

The opening screen to Photoshop. There is a prominent "PROMPT TO EDIT" box highlighted to get you to generate some slop. One of the tutorials right below is for the Generative AI feature. In the menu on the left are highlighted links to Adobe's Firefly AI model.

The screen you see when you open up Premiere Pro. Again, the biggest part of it is the giant "GENERATE B-ROLL" button directing you to AI bullshit. Right next to it is another link to Firefly.

The homescreen for Creative Cloud. Virtually all of it is dedicated to getting you to generate shit in Firefly. There is a big pulsing button in the middle screaming at you to use Google's newest Gemini model.

Paycheck came in so I treated myself to the pack that had Champion Pub (the arcade we use for league is adding it) so I can learn it. It came with Theatre of Magic which I remember from Pinball Arcade so I got in a game before work The scores are so inflated I have no idea if this is good?

Anyone watching pre-1948 Looney Tunes today doesn't know how good they have it: Turner's prints were not in the best shape, and often looked very poor and faded compared to the post-1948s that WB had. It really did take WB getting them back to finally give those shorts the remaster they needed.
