I gotta go check the Delta subreddit this morning. People there are always bitching about the slowness of Delta WiFi (which, fair), because they don't use Starlink. And Ed Bastian recently noted it's because he doesn't want to work with Elon Musk. Gotta say, I'm with Ed on this.

Someone was recently amazed when I told them I don't do voice-to-text, or use voice assistants. I type 80wpm on a slow day, so yeah, I've got no problem typing things out. But McMuffin for Maguffin also opens up a whole world of questions about the dictionaries behind autocorrect/voice-to-text...

Pro-tip to men out there: Leaning in to tell a woman attending a concert solo - where *everyone* in the crowd was singing & bouncing around - that she's "fun" after barely interacting with her all night? Never a compliment. It does, however, ensure she leaves the venue looking over her shoulder.🙄

One of my sister's dogs was very, very smart and figured out the lever-style handles on the doors almost immediately after they had moved into a new house. My sister just ended up attaching a tea towel to the doors the dog most wanted to open to save the paint.

The ballot machines I've seen look very portable! But I didn't use one today - I used the actual ballot box today with an absentee ballot. I miss the days of the little booths with curtains. Pulling the lever to cast your vote felt so visceral. You VOTED!

So when voting is done, the entire voting machine, along with ALL ballots in specially sealed boxes are transported to the Plato Building. So that means that from each polling location, all filled, spoiled, and blank ballots are brought there, along with the machine.
