Since we're here, I'm gonna brag that I own the tie being worn by Phil Hartman in this scene from NewsRadio, which happens to be my favorite sitcom of all time. I'm not bragging on main, but if I'm honest, I don't hate the idea that my ego will grow just here in the alt text, and therefore only for people with vision impairments, etc or people who like to police alt text, which I respect. I could do a whole thing just here in the alt text bragging about all the things I'm proud of that don't get me noticed anyway. Why not do it here where a good number of people won't check? Anyhow, how are you? You can email me at jason@stolendress.com if you want to chat. I used to email back and forth with a guy named Bob Klamm (no relation, I don't think) who was legally blind from birth and also a fucking magician. He invented a lot of magic tricks people still use, but he also was the first person I knew who used assistive reading and writing software, and I liked emailing with him especially because I was fascinated with how the tech worked. I'm also fascinated with this. How do you hear or otherwise experience it with your software? What's the most common software? What's the best? Is it something that any sort of government agency helps pay for or covers entirely? Sort of like the audiobooks and players that go out for free? Just curious. Anyhow. Talk at ya later.
