When I showed the Home Treatment Team my crisis plan, they saw that I have a section about hospital admission that lays out that I do not consent to a room with Oxevision and I require written confirmation from a manager that Oxevision isn't used. I had to get that doc witnessed and signed.

Local LE agencies are an important source of data for LexisNexis, which plays a key role in ICE's surveillance apparatus. One data channel is the Desk Officer Reporting System, which takes reports directly from community members through a LexisNexis-hosted portal branded like an agency page.
An excerpt from promotional material about the LexisNexis Desk Officer Reporting System. A diagram shows a police officer icon connected to four incident types that can be handled without dispatching an officer: minor motor vehicle accidents, anti-bullying reporting, shoplifting reports, and supplements for burglaries. Easy and convenient for citizens and officers: Community members file reports, crime tips, and other incidents 24/7 through a secure online system that supports multiple languages, while agency personnel review reports in English. Officers can review and route reports within minutes. Approved reports transfer automatically into the agency RMS and are treated like any report filed in the field. Case management, crime analysis, and UCR/NIBRS reporting work without changing current procedures. Crime victims automatically receive a PDF copy of approved reports by email. Implementation includes training, sample operational directives, and deployment strategies. New mobile quick connect text service included at no cost: non-emergency inbound calls can be routed to the Desk Officer Reporting System web application, giving callers instant access to the custom non-emergency reporting website and freeing staff to respond to emergency calls.Abilene Police online reporting form for a burglary, with the footer highlighted showing it’s run by LexisNexis Risk Solutions (RELX).

I was assisting on a psych dr call as an advocate & they (inexplicably) use zoom. For first time, another rectangle appeared on the video call titled "AI Agent". NOPE. Gave my thoughts on that. Id hope this clinic wld dump #Zoom entirely but at least, stopped part of the surveillance-deskill tech.

The earliest account of the health hazard of
working with asbestos was provided by Lucy
Deane, one of the first Women Inspectors of
Factories in the UK. Writing in 1898, Deane
included asbestos work as one of the four
dusty occupations which came under
observation that year, ‘on account of their
easily demonstrated danger to the health of
workers and because of ascertained cases of
injury to bronchial tubes and lungs medically
attributed to the employment of the
sufferer’.
She went on to observe that: ‘the evil effects
of asbestos dust have also instigated a
microscopic examination of the mineral dust
by HM Medical Inspector. Clearly revealed
was the sharp glass-like jagged nature of the
particles, and where they are allowed to rise
and to remain suspended in the air of the
room in any quantity, the effects have been
found to be injurious as might have been
expected.’ (Deane, 1898)
Two similar observations by Women
Inspectors followed in 1909 and 1910. They
appeared in the annual reports of HM Chief
Inspector of Factories, which were widely
circulated amongst policy-makers and
politicians.
The observations of these layThe observations of these laywomen might
not have been categorised as ‘expert
opinion’ but they were competent observers
whose discussion of occupational disease
would have done credit to a medical scientist.
Their reports were not refuted but simply
ignored.

A key component of the Cambridge Analytica outrage was your friends subjecting you to data theft without your consent or knowledge. Facebook is running the same playbook on your text messages. Even if you’re not on Meta properties, they’re ingesting your interactions.
Aten installed Muse on both his iPhone and a Mac mini that he uses to test out various Al agents and tech. It took Meta a single day to begin "helpfully" pitching article ideas based on texts he'd sent to a podcast co-host.
When he asked Muse how it got the information, it said that it read banners from incoming texts. But that's not true, either.
After doing a little digging, Aten says Muse synced 187,000 lines from his Messages database, despite Full Disk Access being Off.Unless Aten is the most popular person on the face of the planet, I sincerely doubt he'd gotten 187,000 lines of text in roughly 24 hours. What happened is that, without permission, Muse went into the app and downloaded the information.
He had not given Muse permission to access Messages, and full disk access was not enabled. It just went ahead and uploaded those texts anyway.
Muse can take "unexpected actions" indeed.
