Tesco tonight, a large bin was on its side in front of the door. Told the security fella it was blocking the door. Response: “it just the kids” “Erm, ok, it’s blocking the door ..?” Blank look “Perhaps you should get someone to remove it…??” Another blank look. Dunno what they pay them for

Except we often get yelled at by Americans that “it’s not free, you pay for it through higher taxes” - but the perspective is never there. If you don’t earn, you aren’t paying. And yes our taxes are higher but add their insurance policy premiums to their taxes and I’m sure they come off worse.
