I’ve been spared from seeing the actual posts/review this time, but my reaction to negative responses to WARHOUND and mechsplo at large is always that if you’re truly unable to grasp what draws people to the work outside of bad-faith takes then that speaks to your ability to read critically.

I’m of two minds about the fact that they’re apparently dropping the POV gimmick for the In A Violent Nature sequel because on the one hand that seems like an obviously stupid idea and on the other hand, I did not enjoy the gimmick very much in the first place

I’ve never really thought about how Maris would stack up against the other canonical mechsplo Best Pilots but i do thinks she’s like, relatively unremarkable in comparison. Like she’s very good but i kinda don’t think she’s taking on Sartha or Belle even on a good day
