I agree with that but also, can you imagine the outrage the movie goers would have if they kept Chewbacca's death from the books? 🫠

I've seen several moots struggling with body image recently. My heart goes out to you folks 🫂💙 It's a tough battle to fight. I know that my words won't fix that struggle, but I still want to say that your worth is not defined by size. You are still beautiful, wonderful people inside and out.

Not sure if anyone I follow here is doing this trick or treatathon but I'm going to log stuff here. Trying to see if I can break my record of 10 books in a month. 🤩 This is the current tbr list starting on October first.

This is a trick or treat-athon to be read list. From top left in row to bottom right, Scott Pilgrim's Precious Life - Bryan O'malley, Buffalo Hunter Hunter - Stephen Graham Jones, The Darkest Part of the Forest - Holly Black, The Haunting of Paynes Hollow - Kelly Armstrong, The Interrupted Journey - John Fuller, Good Girl Bad Blood - Holly Jackson, How to Sell a Haunted House - Grady Hendrix, Lights Out - Navessa Allen, The Bone Door - Frances White

Booksky📚 friends who may have been on my Fable. I've removed it from my phone. I love to buy books from Indie authors. I've been struggling to find books on there that are from larger publishers than my Indie author friends, so I'd prefer a better tracker like Storygraph that includes indie authors.

Strange mindset going on that you must've grown up with a long running series to be a fan or it's too late (Metal Gear, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby etc). "I wish I was a fan because the new game looks cool!" Wild suggestion: You can PLAY the games & become a fan! Nothing's stopping u!

Have you gone to the doctor about it yet? There is antivirals available to make recovery happen faster. 10 days is too long for that kind of pain. Go to urgent care if you can afford it. 💔

I can buy that Knightfall is among the darker adaptations. The comics were very much in the spirit of dark and gritty early 90s Batman. Ivy was basically a wicked witch in that one. She was kiss of death Ivy, who couldn’t decide if she wanted to rob or kiss Bruce Wayne and company…

Real talk: Don't know who needs to hear this but there's absolutely nothing wrong about being enthusiastic about your interests/hobbies. Life's too short to not talk about things you enjoy in earnest. The world's too cruel for u to hold back the joy you could be putting into it.

Man, jobs have way too much control over our lives. I had a patient today come in for a follow-up procedure, in the course of 1 week, they lost their insurance with work because they moved them to part time. THEY HAD TO OUT OF POCKET BECAUSE OF THEIR JOB CHANGING THEIR INSURANCE LAST SECOND!!! 💔
