The Empire briefly invaded Estelle’s homeland 10 years before Trails in the Sky, and it’s a foundational event in that story. A lot of the permanent impacts of that conflict impact the characters in different ways, often in ways that are only revealed over time. It’s well done like that.

Some versions of Poison Ivy, she’s very much a woodland nymph. Here’s what a woodland nymph looked like in the Olympians series. That’s Daphne the nymph. Incidentally Ivy disguised herself as Daphne Demeter on an episode 100% inspired by that myth 🌹🫡

Trails in the Sky is a slow burn that ends with a bang. The Second Chapter picks up at that pace and really doesn’t let up for most of the story. The introductions have all been made; SC is where things really get down to business 🔥💪👏

Halfway through the Bad Seeds Gotham Crossover event and it’s shaping up as the time Ivy crashed out to begin the story. (Really it was culmination of long-running stories in her series). The tale of Bad Seeds is all of that coming to a head at once. Looking forward to more Ivy this week 🌹💖

My favorite thing about Harley is she reminds me of the old Joker, in that she’s funny and you can laugh with her. I know she’s very much her own character, but for fans of a certain age, I think it’s part of her appeal. It kinda came up in Gotham City Sirens too (written by Harleys co-creator)
