I'm seeing a disturbing theme in a lot of posts about the Cornell rapes & it's not what may automatically spring to mind. I keep seeing comments about how no one protected, "the girl", no called the cops to help, "the girl". Referring to fully grown women as THE girl(s) is a form of rape culture.
