![1. EarthBound
It was the catalyst for my art style, how the hell could i not include it? It also made me bawl my eyes out, but that was also because of HRT.
2. Doom II: Hell on Earth
First game I was really able to express my interest in game development.
3. Baba is You
It made me realize how much I love Sokoban games to the point of clearing all 3 levelpacks
4. Team Fortress 2
I've been playing this off and on since I was 6 or something. I feel like enough has been said, but it did also really shape my humor.
5. KilaFlow
Shouldn't be a surprise if you've ever really talked about me, I will bring this game up because I love it so much. First game to make me cry too, mostly because uh Chaoko what the fuck was that second to last cutscene <3
6. Pikmin 2
If you've ever come into my streams, especially the crumple zone (or the starting section) it really shouldn't be a surprise. First game I also willingly 100%'d on stream
and no i'm not the same anymore, the last area has scarred me
7. Paper Mario (N64)
It's been a lifelong struggle to try and beat this. Whenever I was able to [LEGALLY ACQUIRE AND PLAY] it, I always ran into some kind of issue.
But last year, I finally was able to beat it because I was using a Nintendo emulator and actually was fine with talking to people
8. Pokémon Diamond Version
My first ever Pokémon game, and only for a long while. It's also where I met my favorite of all time Pokémon, being Turtwig. Plus, I stole my copy from my brother way long ago and I've never told him.
9. Balatro
This game made me realize how much I truely love indie games more than AAA games. Like, after playing a lot of this, I was nearly exclusively buying and playing indie titles. Plus, made me realize how much I love rougeli(k/t)es](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:hiyrw4pwghjgexhtnr3rudei/bafkreia73ugmiqqm5i3iqmtqke7o6ow5q5sspxvggcbxhh4gjwxcrrcj5a)
