This is such a bad look for the world of wine. Even allowing for the possibility that it’s not AI-aided (quite a small one, it seems), the piece in question is so formulaic, anodyne and dull that it hardly showcases the best wine writing today. I just don’t know what 67 Pall Mall is doing here.

Writing is thinking. If you're not writing and researching an article yourself, you are not really thinking about it.
When I'm writing a piece, I have the bare bones in my head but I don't really know where it's going to go, or
what thoughts it is going to spark. I tend to arrive at my own insights, such as they are, in the act of writing.

Amazing stuff. I remember my parents taking an over-the-counter bottle of Kaolin & Morphine on holiday when I was a child which also seems like a different world when it comes to opioids. (Though I appreciate that opioid addiction from cough syrups is a serious problem in some places.)
