as a resident of MI who is living with, and affected by, the smoke from these fires: i apologize for the 4 idiots who sent such a ridiculous letter to Carney. the U.S. can't even admit that climate change is real and/or deal with our own disasters caused by it...maybe send help to Canada instead.

as a resident of Michigan, i would like to apologize for the 4 idiots. does it suck to walk around in a haze of smoke? yes. however, my main concern was for the people in Canada, nearer the actual fires, and their well-being. do i know for certain whether Canada could have done more to prevent this?

just replaced my broken phone with a Fairphone. comes de-googled and in their app store, they rate privacy levels and show you all trackers and permissions. quite a few of my previous apps did not make the cut hoping band gets more popular in US so price comes down

there are a lot of days where, despite its many benefits, i *HATE* texting. phone conversations used to be a one-and-done deal. now, it feels like communicating with friends requires me to answer the phone 9 times or more, per person, in a single day, and carry on multiple conversations at a time.
