This is correct. To 'yes, and' this, if you legit can't afford $1 a month, that's understandable- what you can do is word of mouth. Reposting/reblogging posts, repping commissions you've gotten in the past, vouching for artists and recommending them to friends looking for art... That's like gold.

Remember what they've taken from us with this beige bullshit. Remember how it used to actually be fun to go window shopping, because the displays were interesting looking.

Shoe store from 1992, with what looks like a greco-roman facade, one half done up in garish magentas, teals, and checkers, the other side with pastels. The top facade is cracked, and down that split is one half checkerboard, the other half some sort of faux marble. A few shoes are strewn around in the glass enclosures around the columns.

Back when design was stupid and fun to be around.
