Drove to the shopping centre. 2 stop sign runners within the mall parking lot. Stop signs don't work.

Privatization is always for private profit. This will be disastrous to people, I guarantee we will see at least 20% jump in flight prices. Canadian airspace is also expensive to fly (ATC$) but also airports are already expensive to land.

I didn't realize how much I was spoiled by public transit that is reliable and not impacted by traffic. Sorry TTC subway, I didn't realize how good you are. (As I'm waiting for a bus that runs every 30 minutes, and my bus got delayed)

Halifax has a relatively high number of post secondary education institutions compared to cities around the same size. But also we're continuing to experience brain drain to ON, AB, BC. Surely we can do something about it.

Drivers making right turns in Baltimore (or any city): please, please, please look to the right as well as the left because sometimes there are these people called pedestrians in the crosswalk. Respectfully, Woman who almost got killed by a UPS driver 5 minutes ago and he didn’t even seem upset.

Bedford Hwy has enough room for a MUP and can be connected to COLT. But we're not building that anytime in the distant future too, right?

Took a night ride last night. We need Morris Street bike lane. Also on Oxford. Can we please have a proper East/West connection and a proper North/South connection?

Night rides can be relaxing when there's little car traffic. But crossing Macdonald Bridge, I felt the pavement was quite slippery. Perhaps a different material should be used.

I'd very much like to find out how would they rate Halifax bike lanes. Edmonton continued on improving the existing bike lanes too, like installing protective barriers. www.ualberta.ca/en/folio/202... (2020)

While commuting back home by bike, I encountered a red light runner in her SUV, almost crashing into another cyclist in front of me, at North & Almon. Also, Windsor NB bike lane is full of mud. It's very slippery.

The biggest problem we have is the housing supply not meeting the demand, hence the low vacancy rate that predates the pandemic. What would a "real rent control" do to our city? Will we be able to continue to attract developers to build?

Ten years ago, if you'd told any Nova Scotian that it would become more expensive to rent in Halifax than in Ontario or BC, they'd have laughed out loud. But after years of Liberal neglect and poor PC housing planning, that's just what we're facing now.

It's funny to me that people go to Europe on vacation and navigate those cities on foot, transit, bike, or train. Yet, some of those same people will say those modes of transportation can't be done in Halifax. I mean, the downtown core of Halifax was built by settlers from Europe!

The problem with traffic in HRM is cars. There are too many cars on the road for our infrastructure The only way to fix it is to remove cars These are then replaced with buses (and bus lanes) and bikes/scooters (with their own lane)
