two weeks ago we got our very first "I want to use my AI agent to search the libraries collections" which stressed everyone out! while we had a very lovely and generally positive chat with the researcher today on The Future Of Search (I agree with that) I am still left with a general sense of unease

There is this kneejerk assumption that Dublin by the eighteenth century (or even before) was an Anglophone city pure and simple and Liam Mac Mathúna's work is brimming with evidence that that's just not true and that the city was home to a vibrant Irish-language culture, written and oral.
