After about a year and a half, the sheep are finally done. (This is why I don’t do cross stitch projects for myself, no motivation to finish them.)

Cross stitch of some sheep hanging on a clothes line next to a barn. There are some chickens and one more sheep in the foreground. The words “Hand wash only” are stitched at the top right corner.

Redid my board. This is probably the most organized it will look for a while. Had to leave so many things off, including my pride wing pins which I may have to give in and take them off the card. Might shift the narwhal over to fit one more thing. Ask about an item and I’ll give the backstory.

Finally have the energy to unpack my backpack. Here is the haul from the very generous people handing things out at the picnic. And the other picture is things I bought in Notting Hill (except the pin). Had to include the bag since I didn’t even clock it. The sign and the coasters are presents.

This question has been floating round my messages for quite a while: "Why didn't you kiss in the finale?" Not quite true. People get awfully hung up on kisses being all lips and fireworks. But sometimes the things that barely count as a touch mean far more than all the snogging in the world.

Sharing the 1990 Bisexual Manifesto once again to remind everyone that bisexuality was NEVER binary

The 1990 Bisexual Manifesto

We are tired of being analyzed, defined and represented by people other than ourselves — or worse yet, not considered at all. We are frustrated by the imposed isolation and invisibility that comes from being told or expected to choose either a homosexual or heterosexual identity. Monosexuality is a heterosexist dictate used to oppress homosexuals and to negate the validity of bisexuality.

Bisexuality is a whole, fluid identity. Do not assume that bisexuality is binary or dougamous in nature; that we must have “two” sides or that we must be involved simultaneously with both genders to be fulfilled human beings. In fact, don’t assume that there are only two genders. Do not mistake our fluidity for confusion, irresponsibility, or an inability to commit. Do not equate promiscuity, infidelity, or unsafe sexual behavior with bisexuality. Those are human traits that cross all sexual orientations. Nothing should be assumed about anyone’s sexuality — including your own.

We are angered by those who refuse to accept our existence; our issues; our contributions; our alliances; our voice. It is time for the bisexual voice to be heard.

That's actually a really good parallel, because he THOUGHT he was giving up everything just like Crowley and Aziraphale thought they were giving each other up to save humanity. But love is its own power.

Better yet, there should be no anger. This was simply a story. Stories are subjective; if you do not care for the ending, you are free to write one that suits your own requirements. Deepest gratitude to those who ended the tale. But the story may continue long after the book is closed. ✨️✨️✨️

Love in the face is existence is the whole point! Our individual love might be finite, maybe, b/c we ourselves are finite, but that doesn't make it lesser. Human love is a chain that spans millions of years between all of us; we are equal to the task of any divinity in creating and sustaining love.
