Ten years ago I spent my birthday on a train to Boston for a weekend getaway. Now I’m counting down the hours for another train trip to NYC this weekend. So grateful for all the travel I’ve been able to do over the last decade.

After about a year and a half, the sheep are finally done. (This is why I don’t do cross stitch projects for myself, no motivation to finish them.)

Finally have the energy to unpack my backpack. Here is the haul from the very generous people handing things out at the picnic. And the other picture is things I bought in Notting Hill (except the pin). Had to include the bag since I didn’t even clock it. The sign and the coasters are presents.

I some how won the cat lottery and Penny isn’t usually bother by closed doors. But during the pandemic I worked at my kitchen counter which was less than ideal. I actually started working from home some days in 2019 so we adapted pretty fast but definitely had our moments.

My photo app definitely thinks Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are my parents or some other relatives. It made a little slide show of them. I had an inside joke with some discord friends that they always look like someone’s aunt and uncle. So I’ve saved a bunch of photos of them.
