I have a pair of pants that I picked up from a thrift store from a few years ago (average length) and a pair that I bought from the same company this year (in a Tall) and the pants from a few years ago were longer than the tall pants from this year!!! 😮‍💨

Ooh, it does! This was before feathers were commonly displayed though or you know I would have insisted upon feathers! I looked up "Luis Rey Deinonychus" though and *did* come across the image we based it on (which I hadn't seen in decades) so thank you for that!

Even Halloween is a bit of a stretch! Of the typical Halloween practices, the only one that can be definitively tied to Samhain from my understanding is pumpkin/turnip carving. Both dressing up and going house to house for treats also has competing claims of German (Christian, not pagan) provenance

The thing is that a lot of All Hallow's Eve/All Saint's Day practices *aren't* related to Samhain, they cropped up in Germany. Now, obviously yes aspects like pumpkin carving are but the holiday itself wasn't about Christianizing Samhain
