I grew up in San Diego, and ankle-biting mosquitoes didn’t exist, and Horny Toads were everywhere (now a Species of Special Concern b/c invasive Argentine ants displaced our native harvester ants, their food). Our new mosquitoes (‘14) were activated in ‘23 w/Hurricane Hilary. Here comes TS Rachel.
