Prediction: Countries will start to regulate AI on their own territories. The US will apply tariffs to those who do. The momentum will force western AI companies to sandbox for some. Global AI will continue to access sensitive systems regardless.

I struggle with this. Perhaps it’s just an MVP vs iterative delivery thing, but… Big bang releases to stakeholders are fraught with challenges. From showcasing approach, to feedback and user testing scope. Defining (and building) everything upfront squeezes the opportunity to adapt and learn.

The agency process for automation is often: 1. document 2. proceduralise 3. automate 4. delegate to AI But that assumes AI-led automation should mirror a human approach. Docs & procedures make tacit knowledge legible to people. AI doesn't always need that. It can often master a task directly.

Scope creep is not a bad thing unless it costs an agency money. In most projects people discover valuable things after kick off. That should be embraced. Neither a simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is the right way to handle those requests.
