2 years ago this is what my kid looked like (-3 days because he was actually transferred on the 11th) And I’ve got 2 more just like this sitting in a freezer somewhere (in a lab not a kitchen) IVF is wild and it will never not amaze me what science can do

These days a good nights sleep results in me taking a frenzied, nap inducing stroll desperately trying to get the child to sleep before 3pm. However, if he’s up in the night we have a gorgeously timed midday snooze. There is no winning.

i like waking up with total confidence knowing i will not die in an underwater cave or in proximity to mt. everest. there's a lot about the future you cannot predict, but it's nice to definitively know those are ruled out

My 15 month old has a new trick - he sits on something while simultaneously trying to pick it up. Hilarious and frustrating (which is the theme of most of my days lately.)
