It should also be noted the article doesn't actually quote Hobbs, it's d-von dudley saying Hobbs was angry and frustrated in AEW. So we can also take it with a grain of salt. It's not AEW's fault that every time he was primed for a major push, he got hurt.

Since I was in the audience at this AEW Dynamite from Vegas. Let's clarify. The chants were NOT piped in nor aimed at MJF but in support of Brody King specifically. It wasn't all 1,200+ fans but a solid majority. TV cameras didn't really show but it started with those seated upstairs. #AEWDynamite

More & more people who've had this perception of wrestling are finding out that this isn't the case, especially with #AEW. Wrestling fans don't always equal maga cultists. #WWE on the other hand is a bit different when the head of creative is working directly with RFK and inviting Trump to shows.

As someone who has seen every show, the “Golden Era” started around Sting’s retirement, has been on an incline through ‘24-‘25 and is still happening now. Don’t get me wrong. AEW 2021 was cool, but it can’t touch AEW 2025. (IMHO)
