ultimately if your reaction to someone saying "I think this is bad, I am ethically unhappy about it, I don't want to touch it" is to go "well it's useful so. it's everywhere. nothing to be done" I just kind of think you're an asshole

Artwork I made for my art appreciation class in retaliation of AI! :) Made with my *own two hands* in procreate using watercolor and painty looking brushes to create a quick artwork ( I didn’t wanna spend that much time on it, this assignment pmo enough 😭) I also have what I wrote for the assignment

Social Issue: Artists against AI

The very instructions of this assignment gave me inspiration for this art piece. When I saw the instructions, frankly I was disappointed. An *ART APPRECIATION* class encouraging the use of generative AI, in my opinion, spits in the face of the masters and techniques we’re learning about in this very class. People who worked to hone their skills to create masterpieces- to create art to make the world a little brighter. Artists make the world go round, where would we be without art in our world. Humans have been expressing themselves through art since the dawn of time, some thoughts and feelings can only be expressed through pictures, and I feel that generative AI takes away from that human aspect that makes art so beautiful. In the piece I created, I wanted to showcase a rotted world filled with AI data centers, the water polluted, and the trees have died long ago. Yet, even though this world has moved towards AI, there are still artists who push through and create with their hands, their heart, and their souls. This is what I hope for, as I see AI encroaching on the hobbies that I so love, I always see people (including myself) pushing back in every way they can. There have been many movements for artists fighting back against AI, from trends that redraw disgusting garbled generated images and turn them into something beautiful, to boycotting movies and video games that include AI in the creation process, to creating programs that poison data scrapers to fight back against our artwork being stolen to be put into a data base to generate a bunch of junk.
As an artist, I will not stand for AI and it has absolutely no place in the creative field and I will preach that until I die and return to this Earth.

[OC Fanart] Found a dress on Tumblr that I thought would look beautiful on @caddinschieler.bsky.social ‘s Ark! Macabre but very elegant~ 👁️🖤✨ #art #fanart #OC #OCSky #dnd #ttrpg #tiefling #warlock #fashion

A simply rendered drawing of Arkilius in a black full length dress, sitting on top of a large, disembodied teal mage hand. Their hair is down and covering his scarred over eye, with a braid looping around and behind his stump horn. He also has minimal makeup on: black lipstick and a dark green eyeshadow. Along his neck, upper torso, and upper tail are finger, rib, and spinal bones. Along their shoulders and hips are blueish green glowing orbs and an ink-like iridescent webbing resembling ooze. He wears matching diamond gems dangling from his ears and along the tips of his high heels. Behind his head is a glowing orange halo circled with stylized eyes along the interior.

They're my favorite silly husbands. Desperately in love. Getting told by Sydän to smile for a picture and the teasing begins. My beloved music husbands 💙🧡 They are so deeply in love with each other I promise #oc #ocsky #art #artsky #sketchbook

A scene of two OCs, Sitriini Sinfonia and Aqua Sielu. They are against a cloudy sky backdrop with the sun over Sinfonia's shoulder.

They are looking at each other teasingly annoyed as they tug each other's lips up into a smile.

Sielu has long Aqua blue hair in a high side ponytail and Aqua blue eyes with extremely pale skin. He is wearing a blue buttons down shirt and a deep blue vest with gold trim and buttons. Sielu's vest is double breasted.

Sinfonia is a bit taller and has fair skin and orange eyes. His hair is Citrine orange pulled into a high ponytail. He is wearing a bright orange tie and a goldenrod button down shirt with 3/4 sleeves. He has on a brown vest with light brown designs and gold buttons. Sinfonia's vest is single breasted.

#InkTober Day 10.- Mystical « Lux in Tenebris II » "Till death do us part" so you said. I've been dead for a long time. Like the sun and moon, forever in a waltz. I despise you, Lu'... I do. #art #ink #fountainpen #ballpointpen #oc #ocart #artchallenge #ocartist #tradicionalart #artmoots

Tradicional monochrome sketch of Andrés The Guardian Angel and Lucifer Lord of the Inferno (OCs) holding hands in a waltz staring at eachother, Andrés with disgust, Lu' with intrigue. Andrés is wearing an outfit that resembles that of a priest, one he'll wear by LToF, Lu's wearing more of a semi-casual suit with stars and moons embroidered on it with rings and jewlery on his horns.

Yes, this is a bit of a GuardianDevil piece, but not quite. Moreso Lu' growing being intrigued and fascinated by André's vendeta againt him.

Watercolor drawing of Kafen Boxha, Eros The Cupid, Icyee Farenheit and Kosmo The Cosmonaut (OCs) cuddling and sleeping huddled together. The blanket's pink and it's covering the lower half of them all, Icyee's resting holding up her face with her arms, Kosmo's curled his arms around himself, Eros is snoaring and leaning back on Kafen, and Kafen's resting besides them all with a warm expression.

Had this one ready before October started, wanted to post it eventualy.

🎃 Jenny Lamp 👻 When @trackingxp.bsky.social sent Jenny Jolt to the event, she thought that her talents would make her a suitable model for a music box 🎶 She probably did not expect the wonder children using her affinity of electricity to turn her likeness into a lamp instead 💡 #Halloween #giftart

Chibi artwork featuring Jenny as a guitarist lamp! This interpretation of Jenny is made to look like a porcelain statue, having slightly bright and dull colours, and more reflective lighting.
Jenny is a large woman with a muscular physique, still represented in this chibi look. She has fair skin and deep blonde hair. Her only opened eye is portrayed as if giving off light, with white pupils and a light blue iris. Underneath this eye she has a blue tattoo in the shape of a lightning bolt.

Jenny is dress like a punk guitarist, using an electrical theme. Her hair is bound with a purple headband and ribbon, while wearing a choker of similar design. She wears yellow gloves and a yellow top, all of which have multiply coloured trims in the shape of lightning. Her boots are equally yellow, with multiple bands of variying colours. Her skirt is instead blue, consisting of multiple sharp layers and a purple trim. Jenny wields a blue guitar, though the bow instead ends in a lamp. She is standing on a blue platform connected to a plug in the ground.

Jenny Jolt is a cast member belonging to TrackingXP (through Bluesky).
